MILLENNIUM DANCERS

Perform high energy routines for both Pre-Game and Half-Time Entertainment at many minor League Professional Sports teams. Past performances include DFW Diesel Football, Dallas Diesel Basketball, FW Cats Baseball, Texas Heat Football, Wesleyan University Basketball, Stampede Football, Dallas Express Football, Regulators Basketball, and Wrangler Basketball.

Favorite Part of Coaching: Seeing girls faces light up when they dance

Advice on Dance: Do what feels right to you

Interesting Facts: I love to eat, sleep, and dance and I have a dog that is very hyper.

Coaching Style: I love working with little kids because of the opportunity to help form them into the great dancers they will become in the future.

Advice on Dance: Dance like there is no one watching.

Interesting Facts: My favorite color is yellow, I love chips and salsa, shopping, Marilyn Monroe, and Michael Jackson is my dance inspiration.

Dance Training: Jazz, Hip Hop, Pom, Kick, Modern

Favorite Dance Style: Hip Hop and Jazz

Favorite Dance Move: I love any type of turn and anything that challenges me physically

Dance Accomplishment: Officer of High School Drill Team, Won Outstanding Choreographer

Coaching Style: I like to breakdown the elements to make sure everybody clearly understands the technique.

Favorite Part of Coaching: Seeing the satisfaction on the girls’ faces when they finally master an element.

Advice on Dance: If you have a uniform issue or make a clumsy move, just keep dancing and let your personality and perseverance show through. Always smile!

Favorite Dance Style: Jazz and Hip Hop

Favorite Dance Move: Any jumps or leaps or athletic moves

Dance Accomplishment: Being a Millennium Dancer

Coaching Style: Laid back, but encouraging. I love to see students grow in class.

Favorite Part of Coaching: I listen to the humor of kids

Advice on Dance: Dance with confidence, heart, and joy and you will always look great!

Interesting Facts: MBA Degree, Mixed Martial Arts Black Belt, love to travel the world, dress up in dance costumes, focus on fitness and nutrition. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my husband James, my 18 yr. old daughter Kerry, my two kitties Jack and D.C. and the rest of my family.

Favorite Dance Style: Pom, High Kick, and Drill Team

Favorite Dance Move: Love, love, love pump leaps, switch leaps, and toe touches

Dance Accomplishment: Received call back on “So You Think You Can Dance” Audition

Coaching Style: I love joking around and making students smile. I love having fun.

Favorite Part of Coaching: Choreographing and seeing students perform. I also love to see the joy on students’ faces when they accomplish a new dance move.

Advice on Dance: Don’t think so hard. Just have fun!

Interesting Facts: I love shopping, my other job, the people I work and dance with and I change my hair style more often the seasons.

Dance Accomplishment: Performing works by Dwight Rhoden, Adam Hougland, Melissa Glasgow, Fernando Hernandez, Moussa Diabate, Keith Thompson, Gabriel Masson, Margarita Bruce, Jay Franke, Catherine Turocy, Robert Battle, Debra McWaters, Jessica Lang and Edmond Niles. As well as being accepted into the University of Arizona dance department and The University of North Texas dance department.

Interesting Facts: I started dancing when I was 7 years old and I used to be a Jr. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and I performed half-time shows with Creed, Toby Keith, LeAnn Rimes, and Destiny’s Child.
